Org Chart
The Org Chart is the fleet's chain-of-command artifact — the versioned record of who reports to whom in Heiervang Technologies and the wider ~/ht ecosystem. It is not one file but a small set with clear roles:
org-chart.json— the structured source of truth. Apersonasmap (name, role, mnemonic per key) plus anedgeslist. Consumed programmatically, including by the director GUI's reports-to overlay.ORG_CHART.md— the human-readable rendering: chain-of-command graph, roster tables, and a dated snapshot.fleet-tree.svg— the live agent snapshot, showing which personas are currently instanced (and which render off-chart, e.g. the Free-agent pool).
Versioning
The chart is versioned (e.g. v2026-07-07d) and moves as the fleet reorganises — reparentings, new seats, and moves to the Free-agent pool all land as edge changes plus a version bump. The roster source of truth remains the per-persona ~/ht/admin/<persona>/IDENTITY.md matrices; the chart records the edges, not the identities.
Ownership
Ht-org-manager is the context clerk for the chart — it owns ORG_CHART.md, STATE.md, and the fleet-tree.svg regen, and keeps the roster tables current as personas onboard or move.
Sources
~/ht/admin/org-chart.json— structured hierarchy (personas + edges).~/ht/admin/ORG_CHART.md— human-readable chart + snapshot.~/ht/admin/fleet-tree.svg— live instanced-agent snapshot.
