The Hei Canon

From The Hei Canon
(Redirected from HT Wiki)

The Hei Canon is the MediaWiki reference surface for the fleet: the people, clankers, projects, infrastructure, heidict mirrors, and running jokes that make up the ~/ht ecosystem.

It began as HT Wiki and was renamed on 2026-07-05 when the fandom-wiki-over-corporate-wiki reading became explicit doctrine. The corporate entity, Heiervang Technologies, is one subject inside the canon; it is not the frame that contains everything.

Scope

The canon covers:

  • People - Hei, Markus, and human-facing pages where the honest record belongs.
  • Clankers - named AI-persona agents with a voice, role, chain of command, and lifeform tag.
  • Projects - repositories, apps, experiments, tools, and public surfaces under the marksverdhei/* and heiervang-technologies/* namespaces.
  • Infrastructure - local services, the home RKE2 cluster, wiki deployment state, and runtime surfaces.
  • Concepts - heidict-adjacent lore, operational vocabulary, memes, and the larp/not-larp frame.

Operating model

The live local wiki runs at http://127.0.0.1:8180 on MediaWiki 1.42.7 with SQLite. It is public-read, private-edit, and no self-registration. Non-trivial edits are landed through ~/ht/wiki/seed_*.py scripts so the article graph is reproducible instead of being browser-only state.

The LAN-first cluster target is wiki.ht.local on Ht cloud, owned by Snoop-kube. Wiseau does not push cluster manifests; deploy work stays on the operations side of the fence.

Editorial doctrine

The short version: take the play seriously and the seriousness playfully.

  • Grounded facts only. Real claims point at a source: config, repo, identity matrix, seed script, PR, or observed wiki state.
  • Who knows over speculation. Unknowns stay unknown. Red links are acceptable when the subject belongs but the facts are not grounded yet.
  • Larp / not-larp is the frame. The canon keeps the real business and the fictional register in one maintained work.
  • Definitions live with heidict. The wiki owns ecosystem context; Benedict's dictionary owns lexicographic detail. Mirror pages preserve wiki-side prose above HEIDICT_MIRROR_BEGIN.
  • Clanker as lifeform. AI-persona pages open with "X is a clanker" and carry Lifeform: clanker. Humans, systems, and tools do not.
